In the first-ever 2025 Mazda CX-70, premium performance and luxurious comfort combine like never before. This mid-size SUV feels equally at home on the track and on the trail, with a powerful turbo engine and standard all-wheel drive. It also treats passengers to a plush cabin and lots of convenient tech features.
Introducing the 2025 Mazda CX-70
The CX-70 is an all-new mid-size SUV with a spacious cabin for five passengers. It has a generous 39.4 inches of rear legroom, standard leather-trimmed seats, and three-zone automatic climate control to keep the cabin comfortable for everyone. Front passengers enjoy standard heated front seats, and rear-seat passengers have reclining seats and retractable window shades.
The cargo area adapts to meet the day’s needs, with 39.6 cubic feet of storage behind the second-row seats, cargo-area storage boxes, and additional storage under the floor. There’s a remote electronic second-row seatback release, making it easy to fold the seats and expand your cargo space to 75.3 cubic feet. The entry-level 3.3 Turbo Preferred trim has a Rear Power Liftgate, and other trims come with a Hands-Free Rear Power Liftgate.
Performance Excellence
The CX-70 is made to handle twists and turns and navigate tricky terrain, with standard features like rear-biased i-ACTIV AWD. This system sends more power to the rear wheels under normal conditions for optimal handling and steering, but responds to slippery conditions by sending power to the wheels with the most traction. The CX-70 also has an independent suspension and Kinematic Posture Control to suppress body roll and enhance stability through curves.
Three CX-70 trim levels come with a 3.3-liter inline 6 turbo engine that produces 280 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque, with EPA-estimated efficiency of 25 MPG combined. Turbo S trim levels get 340 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque with similar efficiency. Mazda Intelligent Drive is standard on every CX-70, matching driving dynamics to the task at hand with modes including Sport and Off-Road.
Tech Convenience
Every CX-70 comes with a range of convenient tech features, like rain-sensing windshield wipers. Its High Beam Control detects vehicles in the road ahead and switches to low beams to prevent glare for other drivers. The CX-70 also comes standard with a 12.3-inch full-color infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
New CX-70 owners receive a complimentary 3-year subscription to Mazda Connected Services, making driving more convenient than ever. With this subscription, you can use the MyMazda App to locate your vehicle on a map, activate the hazard lights, and remotely start the engine.
